July 2007 The “Dykes in Splitsville” shoot will be wrapping this month, with Alana’s and Louise’s final interviews.
November 2007Dykumentary has spent the last six months in communication with the patents office www.ipaustralia.gov.auThe first application for Dykumentary to be Trade Marked was rejected in April. The logo was then redesigned, and it now meets the requirements for acceptance for registration under the Trade Marks Act 1995.
January 2008Dykumentary wishes you a very HAPPY NEW YEAR! This is the scheduled year for the release of “Come out and Play”. Dykumentary is proud to have secured the skills and services of Dianne Comrie, to whom the tapes of every interview have been handed over. Dianne is a freelance transcriber, working on scripts for programs such as Australian Story, First Australians and Sunday Arts. Prior to emigrating to Australia, Dianne worked on the prestigious Radio 4 ‘Today Programme’, the BBC’s flagship news and current affairs radio show. It was there that she honed her typing skills. In the days when scripts were typing on electric typewriters with five layers of carbon paper, any typos risked being read on air!
